whispers from the past

I was thinking about a little "challenge". It would be different because we would be challenging ourselves but I'm sure the result would be lovely.

Here's the scoop: claim one from the following prompts and write a "drabble" (min. 100 words, max. 300) within 24 hours (deadline is 12 p.m. EST, Monday - but that's not set in stone, it can change if it has to). The pairing is VigOrli, the setting is New Zealand. Date doesn't matter, but it has to fit RL events we all know of. When it's done, post it in your blog and link it here.

And now comes the interesting part: when it's all said and done, I'll try to fit the drabbles together so that they would make up a complete story (or you can all help me fitting, I don't want to play boss).
